We are a lovely family of 3 4 living in the urban jungle that is Baltimore, Maryland. We live in a busy city and have decided to embark on a journey of living simply at home, partly to slow down and partly to bring us closer to God through enjoying our home, our family and the things he has blessed us with. The goal is to make our home a sanctuary, a place of peace and serenity.
Many times we can get disconnected with all of the things we have going on in our lives. We may find ourselves down in the dumps simply because we have too much happening. When we pay more attention to God, we become more thankful and reverent. This is when we become more devoted to God, more deeply in love with him. Eden was God’s first sanctuary here on earth. A garden. I believe God can found in every one, in every place and in everything. This blog is my way of reconnecting, finding and sharing my little piece heaven right here on earth. Our Urban Eden.

My husband and I met in 2004 and have been two peas in a pod ever since. We welcomed our darling daughter Kennedy into the world in 2011.
We got married in September 2013 in a lovely outdoor ceremony.
We welcomed our son Malcolm in 2015.
