Soft Bake Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter (unsalted)
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Optional

  • 1/2 cup nuts (pecans, walnuts etc.) (chopped)

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
2. Cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
3. Add egg and vanilla.
4. Mix in flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt
5. Mix in chocolate and nuts, if you choose to add nuts.
6. Scoop onto an ungreased or lined baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
