Old Fashioned Baked Macaroni & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2.5lb Cheddar Cheese (or combination of cheeses of choice)
  • 1lb Elbow Macaroni
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Yellow Mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Directions

1. Prepare macaroni according to the package instructions.
2. Drain but do not rinse the macaroni.

In a 9 x13" baking dish, mix macaroni and 3/4 of the cheese together.
4. In a separate bowl, combine eggs, milk, mustard and spices.

Whisk together until frothy on the top.

Pour custard mix over the macaroni and cheese mixture.

Sprinkle remaining cheese on the top and cover in foil. Bake in a 425 degree oven for 45 mins

Remove foil and bake for another 15 or 20 minutes until bubbly and slightly golden on top.
